Engine Overview

This page serves as an introductory page for the Nissan VQ35DE and VQ35HR engines used in the Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35. There are a few variants and those are covered here as well. VQ: This is the Nissan designation for this series of V6 engines.
35: This is the displacement (3.5L (liters)). There are several sizes available in the VQ lineup.

E: Stands for Electronic fuel injection

HR: Translations from some japanese sites suggest this stands for "High Revolution" or "High Response"
